Filip grew up in front of VIVA and MTV, with Eminem and Liquido on repeat. His dad taught dance and DJ'd at dance competitions, so the house was full of ballroom and Latin music, with notes on which older songs had been remade.
He wanted a guitar mainly because guitars looked cool. His parents sent him to classical lessons, which wasn't the plan, and he quit after a few. Later his dad bought him a cheap black Yamaha electric. It went straight into the home computer. His mum heard all of it, singing included, and he still owes her for that.
Nirvana and Rage Against the Machine came next, then bands with long songs. He likes verses and choruses that don't sound alike, and the early songs went off in every direction. Now he tries to keep the surprises and still make a song easy to follow. Quite often the riff a song started from doesn't make it onto the recording.
